Volta Chairs
Volta is a charming and timeless chair that stands out for the elegance and subtlety of its design. Designers
Julien Renault
Julien Renault is a French designer trained at the School of Art and Design in Reims and later at ECAL in Switzerland. He currently lives in Brussels where he designs furniture and objects for renowned international companies.
Open-minded and exploratory, Renault is a sensitive and curious person who finds inspiration everywhere and has a particular appreciation for humble, everyday objects. Never afraid to embellish the ordinary, Julien Renault shows a deep sensitivity for detail and is always attentive to how objects dialogue with their surroundings.
Renault is a refined and methodical designer; he thinks and works conceptually and throughout each project he follows a precise and recognizable image. As he did with the Volta chair, which he designed for Vergés, the commission begins with a defining element that accompanies the concept from start to finish.
