Montagud’s New Gastronomic Space in Barcelona, dedicated to meetings and the promotion of gastronomic culture, has chosen furniture by Vergés.

Montagud is a prestigious publishing house specialising in gastronomy and one of the most influential in the world. Since publishing its first book in 1906, Montagud has continued to document the evolution of haute cuisine through its publications, accompanying generations of chefs, professionals and food enthusiasts.

The meticulous design of its books, as well as that of its magazine Apicius (published every six months), reflects Montagud’s passion for excellence and attention to detail. This same ethos can be seen in the showroom they recently opened in Barcelona’s Eixample district. The space has been conceived as a meeting point for professionals and enthusiasts of haute cuisine, hosting presentations, gastronomic experiences and discussions centred around the culture of good food.

Lago Interioriza, the studio responsible for the interior design project, has created a serene, sophisticated and intimate space. Within this calm atmosphere, defined by deep green tones, Vergés chairs and tables blend seamlessly into the surroundings, ensuring the utmost comfort for guests to enjoy each gathering and gastronomic experience.
