The Nela collection, designed by Emiliana Design Studio, is characterised by its aesthetic and constructive simplicity.

It is manufactured in ash wood and its backrest seems to have been sculpted to delicately mould to the back. The seat can be woven with different materials to offer a soft and comfortable sitting position.

Nela is a quiet, austere, balanced collection, without complexity or visual dominance. Thanks to its versatility and timeless presence, it adapts naturally to any environment.

Designers

Emiliana Design Studio

Ana Mir and Emili Padrós, designers of the Naoshima stool, founded the Emiliana Design Studio in the late 90’s, just after graduating from Central Saint Martins in London. The studio is characterized by a multidisciplinary approach and a bold, curious attitude that allows them to effortlessly alternate between product and furniture design, space and exhibition design, and the production of unique pieces.
Emiliana Design Studio is currently in charge of artistic direction at Vergés.
