Our Vergés Care furniture has been selected as part of the programme of the International Design Triennial of Covilhã, in Portugal. It is an initiative of the Covilhã municipality under the impulse of the UNESCO Creative City Action Plan.
“The international Exhibition: Here, now: bioregional paths and situated practices presents ideas of bioregional and situated design practices through exemplary projects that are considered fundamental to redefining what the discipline of design is today and can be in the near future. A bioregional approach to design understands its territory as an ecosystem in all its complexity. Inside the Municipal Theatre of Covilhã visitors had the opportunity to get to know closely the whole creative process developed by Emiliana Design Studio and to experience the new line of inclusive furniture with the collaboration of Portuguese fabric company Burel.
